Electromech Technologies specializes in the manufacture and overhaul of AC/DC motors, actuators, blowers, and position feedback devices for the aerospace, military and industrial markets. The company was founded in 1968 when seven entrepreneurs had a dream. They started the company in the back room of one of their homes. Electromech Technologies today employs over 350 people. The location in Wichita, Kansas, the “Air Capital of the World”, gives the company several advantages. These advantages include a highly skilled workforce and a strong local supplier base that provides extensive aircraft-qualified outside processing capabilities.
Electromech Technologies has made a commitment to excellence through technology and to customer satisfaction. They have maintained an atmosphere of continuous improvement in order to stay successful in the aerospace supplier base and point to many achievements that show their commitment to customer satisfaction.
This philosophy has led to Electromech Technologies components being found on virtually every aircraft flying today and in many military applications including the Raytheon Model 1900C, Boeing C17, Cessna Citations, Bombardier Learjets, Sikorsky Blackhawk, Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS), the Patriot Launch Platform, the Paladin Mobile Howitzer, and Navy F14 Phoenix Missile.
