AmSafe Bridport designs and manufactures restraints & specialty devices such as airframe barrier nets, lightweight cargo nets, fire and thermal covers.

We are problem solvers and solution providers, designing and manufacturing engineered textile solutions for the safety and securement needs of the global aerospace and defence markets. We specialise in engineering quality and innovative products that withstand high dynamic stress loads and provide safer, more efficient airframe restraints & barrier solutions, cargo handling & movement systems and RPG protection for armoured vehicles.

Using innovative design techniques and modern textile fibres, our products include lightweight structural barriers within aircraft, helicopter underslung load equipment (HUSLE), pallet net and tie-down straps to restrain cargo, fire protection for dangerous goods for up to 5 hours at 815°C (matching ETOPS for the majority of aircraft), rocket propelled grenade protection for military vehicles and technical webbing used in a host of aerospace and defence applications. Our design standards include UK MOD DAOS approval, ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100C, FAA accredited, EASA part 21G and part 21J. Our global repair stations are EASA part 145 certified and we are the design authority for UK HUSLE and Air Cargo equipment.
